How do I water my plants in these planter baskets?
These baskets are the perfect home for pot plants but when it comes to watering them you have a few options. If using regular plant pots with drainage holes, always place a saucer or drainage plate under your pot. We advise customers for extra leakage protection, to add a plastic bag or wrap a small piece of builders plastic sheet (available from hardware stores) around the bottom of your pot and saucer and secure it with tape so then you can easily water your plants in their baskets straight from your watering can. Sometimes it’s easier to remove the plants from the baskets and give them a drink outside. You can also stick with plant pots that don’t have drainage holes in the bottom to avoid any spillage on the baskets or inside your home without having to remove the plants for watering.
Can these white small baskets be used outdoors?
Absolutely! All we ask is that you keep these beauties undercover on your patio, verandah or balcony to avoid exposure to long periods of rain. The white dipped baskets make wonderful additions to outdoor table settings or as hanging decorative pieces when filled with pot plants or other home decor.
